It's Auckland...but not as we know it
It's freezing cold here...ok so we can't really complain when most of the rest of the country is under a blanket of snow..but still it's cold..this was billy just in the house the other moring

SOL is 3
happy birthday soltoday was sol's 3rd birthday party
when I asked him what he wanted for his cake it was himself so we made a sol cake
The Pinata
sarah made this fabulous piniata, the idea was it would be easier to break open than the store brought ones. Turns out is was worthy of being a nasa material, indestructable. Everyone tried, the stick broke but not the piniata, a heavier stick was acquired, uncle hamish scored it open with a knife, it fell off, got kicked around, isabella whacked it on the ground with a wooden stick and finally ripped it open

Queens Birthday
as some of you may recall harriet was most perturbed not to be invited to the queens birthday last year, this year she took the lack of invitation to buckingham palace for the big event a little better as we explained it was a family party. We have had to list the members of the royal family who would be attending for her though.Fri night kahi came to stay and the rest of the weekend
I had to work so ang was flying solo with all 3. Sat she and pop mak hung out with a trip to MOTAT and sunday they caught up with Elizabeth for a bush walk. Monday we headed over to devonport for a look around in the sunshine and afternoon tea with the grans where gran too was quizzed on attendance at the royal party. Tonight sarah, sila and the boys came round for tea and we were treated to some great displays of dancing.
