Happy Birthday Harriet

 this lovely girl turned 15 today

 we started the day with presents

luckily there was someone to help her open them

then Otis and I took her out to breakfast

before school

 the whanau all arrived for a birthday tea

Harriet chose Mexican

 cake time

we are so proud of you gorgeous girl

your dance journey now has you

 dancing with the seniors at Indiance 

and even being asked to teach classes

we have pretty proud Mother smiles

 for the excellences you are getting in Internals

even in the subjects you don't like

you're a really good friend

and a pretty good help with you little brothers

when they aren't driving you completely insane

hope 15 is a fabulous year

it's been a crazy wet week and weekend

I didn't manage to capture any pics of Harriet

but we did have Miriama stay with us this weekend

Girls Weekend

Harriet turns 15 later this month

and for her birthday she wanted to go down to Orua 

with just me and her best friend.

This was the only weekend we could co-ordinate it

so we headed down Friday evening

 

Saturday morning Blueberry picking

low tide beach walk

 

and a high tide afternoon at Awhitu

 

with Fish n Chips for tea 

and a sunset beach walk

Sunday morning lighthouse visit

and a last walk along Orua

these two girls were so lovely to spend time with

we also got in some reading, cards and scrabble 

and pretty nice she would want to spend her birthday celebration 

with her Mother
