Happy 9th Birthday

Today was

this gorgeous girls' 9th birthday

the day started with cards and presents on our bed

card I made her from a vintage book

and one from Billy

her present from us

which turned out to be a big hit

than it was off to school

with cupcakes for each of her class

Arlo helped me bake her cake

Weekend Round Up

Friday Morning Walk

Harriet went to watch the Mystics netball game with her friend


Sunday Harriet and I headed down to the waterfront to meet up with Isabella who was there with Greenpeace.

There was a rally to farewell a support flotilla of 20 yachts, kayaks, tinnys and tira waka escorting a group of four yachts heading to Whangaparāoa Bay by Cape Runaway on the East Cape of the North Island to join te Whānau-a-Apanui in their campaign to defend the coast from deep sea oil exploration.
