it was a weekend of parties for us
following an after school party for Arlo on Friday and Harriet's family tea
we were at school bright and early Saturday morning
to get ready for Kapahaka at Fia Fia day
(I had made the sashes and the girls costumes on Wednesday)
the boys in action
afterwards it was time for giant candy floss
and running round with cousin Lennox
late Saturday afternoon it was Harriet's
Sleepover Party
ready for the chocolate game
Madeline, Stella and Harriet have been friends since they were babies
then make your own Pizzas
and into Onsies ready for a movie marathon
with a break for birthday Pavlova
and make your own Ice Cream Sundaes
there was not much sleep to be had at the sleepover
and while Ang took Otis and Arlo to another wee friend's party
I made the tired girls hotcakes for breakfast
we finished off the weekend with one last party
a giant water slide party at a local park
for our wee friend Rio
yes that ambulance in the background was for a party guest
an adult who stood at the end of the slide and got knocked over by a speedy slider
Arlo and Otis sensibly stayed dry
but Harriet and Billy had a lot of fun
and there were no broken bones
we were all a little tired by Sunday night
