the small boy was more than a little grumpy this morning
if we are being completely honest so was his Mummy
too much work, not enough sleep over the weekend
so we started with coffee
but really he didn't cheer up till we found this Dinosaur flyer
and a few more I acquired for him on our walk home
we even found some bigger Dinosaur posters
the funny thing was when Isabella saw them this afternoon
she wanted to know why we had been pulling down her friend's Band posters
I didn't realise they even were, it had been the Dinosaur we were keen on
but guess Arlo will now have his first band picture on his wall
when we got home we found all the toy Dinosaurs
but Arlo wanted to take them on an adventure
so I suggested a Volcano
so he packed them all up in his favourite bag
thankyou Gran and Barb for the campest bag ever
and we set off up the Volcano
where he lined up his Dinosaurs
ate some lunch
and we made a lot of Dinosaur trains
I love how you can have long conversations with him now
about what Dinosaurs eat
and what would happen if lave came out of the Volcano
and who is who in the Dinosaur families
he is the little Pterodactyl
another look at the Island Volcano
Rangitoto
and onto a new place to set them all up
flying to the car
and an exhausted boy on the way to school
with an egg which will hatch a Dinosaur
hopefully in the morning when he wakes up
