Christmas Eve was spent having dessert and presents with friends before heading home to put on this years Christmas PJs
hanging stockings
and leaving letters and a treat for Santa and the reindeers
Christmas morning and the small people pile onto the end of our bed to open their stockings
her most favourite gift, one Mummy refused to buy and Santa delivered, wheelie shoes
all Santa left
than into the lounge for our family gifts
Billy has looked after this wee polar bear everyday since he got it
making our traditional pancake breakfast
which we share with Isabella's other Mother
some present playing
and dancing to Isabella's records while her hair sets
whanau arrive
and before lunch Gran's Christmas speech where we remember those who are not with us
and celebrate those who are
each year Gran talks about how proud we are of our children and it is gorgeous to watch their faces as she talks about each of them
than it is time for lunch
and chatting

more presents after lunch
