Little Bits of the Weekend

we had a 3 day weekend this week

Saturday we headed out to a park

and met up with Aunty Margaret

for a bush walk

and a yummy picnic lunch

Saturday afternoon was a friend's 6th Birthday Party

Sunday we headed North to Matakana

where Sarah & Sila were staying

and went to see Sarah's work in an exhibition at the Vivian

as well as some friends of hers work

and some bouncing in the sheep paddock

and a somewhat drizzly walk along Omaha beach

before heading home

Monday was a long morning walk for the small people

and a very lovely sleep in for me

and some afternoon bike riding

while gardening out the front

a visit to the takeaway shop

and a picnic dinner in the park

before a sunset drive up the mountain

all in all a very nice Labour Weekend
