the first day of the school hols
started with a little marble run building
Otis becoming the newest member of the
Kahi Savila Fanclub
the vote today was for North Head
so we left this cute boy at home with Mama
out of the crazy weather and headed off
stopping to find some boxes
we had to shelter from some showers initially
but the sun soon came out to let us put our boxes to good use

not every run was a good one
when the rain set in again we headed into the tunnels
these are old WW2 battlements
the lads
the perfect place for exploring
and Arlo has never been here before
so he was pretty impressed with the adventure
especially the tunnels without lights where
he needed his torch
we explored a recently opened pathway
along the shore
and back to where we started for afternoon tea
