some cute pics from the last few weeks

is having a very busy term. We have begun the four weeks of full on bollywood practices for the big performance on sept 22nd. She is also practising for her school concert on the 13th of sept where she is also doing some bollywood dancing. We were very proud to be told she is in the top reading group in her class having moved up 3 groups in the last two weeks. Life with harriet is like being at a spelling bee at the moment, she likes to spell out everything, she says a sentence than spells it out to us. We finally have the hospital appointment to have her tonsils and adenoids out which should hopefully help her mouth breathing and snoring. Unfortunately for her it is the middle friday of her next school hols so the second week may be a bit miserable for her.

The Child Least Likely to.....

end up in plaster is again sporting a lovely white cast...for the second time this year. We both had a sense of deja vue as we went to the A&E clinic, radiology and the plaster room. Yes Isabella has managed to fracture her scaphoid bone at netball practice. She is discovering the joys of trying to do everything one handed and left handed. We go back for an xray in 2 weeks but she is determined to have it off for her role as Miss Darbus in the school production of High School Musical. In the proud mother smile department she has gained distinctions in english and spelling in her Australasian exams putting her in the top 10% of the top 10% of students her age in NZ and Aussie.
