Happy Pants

I've been pattern testing some great little pants

 these are the Happy Pants from Peach Patterns

 I made these ones in a thin wool

with wee cord pockets

 the pocket detail is super cute with bias round the cutout

 my second pair were in a thin cord

 the pattern is on sale here

comes in sizes 1-12

and will also look fabulous in summer weight fabrics

there is also a cargo pants option

BoY Monday - Dinosaurs

Monday we headed out to Butterfly Creek

to check out the Dinosaurs

Otis was a little unsure to start with

they are pretty big and noisy and move quite a bit

 so we had a quick look and went to catch a train ride

 where they seemed much less scary

 than it was off to check out the farm animals

 he was particularly taken with the giant bunny

 and a little more wary of the goats

after some tractor and playground time 

he asked to go back to the Dinosaurs

 and really loved them the second visit

 and the alligators which weren't robotic and actually walked around
