saw us joining friends for a beach walk

Playdates and a Party

we dropped Billy off to his wee friend's 5th birthday this morning

his present for her was a woolen cape made from this thrifted wool material


with crochet flowers from Isabella

and lining that matched perfectly from another oppy find

and a beautiful bouquet Leon made up

the birthday girls' wee sister came for a park playdate with us, she and Arlo are at preschool together

in a wee pair of pants I made

Harriet also had a friend along for a playdate

the boys are both very keen on drawing at the moment

Billy had a unique canvas this week getting to draw on Barb's cast ( luckily it only needed to stay on for a week)

Grey Zoo Day

compared to Saturday, Sunday was a grey old day but the small people had fun meeting up with lots of friends for a playgroup Zoo visit

Saturday Afternoon Walk

after yesterdays big storm we took advantage of the afternoon sunshine

heading along the wall

over the bridge

and up the hill till we found Isabella

some vintage shopping at our favourite store, the lovely owner knows our small people by name

yummy vegan goodies for afternoon tea

more vintage shopping

before heading back up the rd again

little treasures given to them in Peachy Keen

past some Autumn loveliness


and home again in time for tea
