probably the last wear of these wee overalls as they are a summer weight material and he has grown a bit taller the last few months

Easter Treats

Our Easter morning treat was that with 3 children on away visits Nanarie and her friend came early Sunday and took Harriet for brunch and a visit to Kelly Tarltons so we got to spend a whole morning reading and doing nothing much.

the children came home to these wee Easter bags I made from my stash of vintage books


they had wee chocolate treats and a little vintage card each

than we headed to afternoon tea with Gran and Barb

our contribution was this yummy Fejoa and Coconut loaf made by Ang from the last of Aunty Colleens' Fejoas

luckily the boys brought back this huge box from their Nana and Papa as our whole family can go through many of these in a day

Anzac day dawned grey and wet so I brought a little garden colour inside to remember those from our family who fought in the wars



we had a quiet day at home with some little friends visiting and even a little sewing

Harriet wanted to make a softie rabbit so she drew up a plan, picked the fabrics and buttons and I sewed up this wee fellow for her

Saturday Adventures

The small people had friends over today so we took a walk in the sun

although it was a rather slow walk as a small boy didn't wish to be in his pushchair...but did want to ride his very tiny skateboard over every wall and surface



after a stop at the bakery we made it to the playground for lunch


and some circus school tricks







the boys went down the line to visit their Nana & Papa this afternoon, Miss Isabella went to a party and we got to take Miss Harriet out to dinner at a local Indian restaurant where she was very good company.
I think she likes having her parents all to herself.
Easter treats are all prepared and we shall await tomorrow's chocolate high.
