billy is having a little trouble with the fundamental difference between what is naughty and what is funny, things he thinks are funny which are actually naughty are sitting on the bunny hutch, throwing things, deliberately tipping water out of his drink bottle on the couch and running away. He does them than says 'that's funny'. Apparently everyone else is a little bit naughty, he was sitting in his car seat the other day saying 'hattie is a little bit naughty, mummy is a little bit naughty, mama is a little bit naughty, Ella is a little bit naughty', when I asked him if he was a little bit naughty he was sure he wasn't.

The Big Birthday Weekend

Harriet had a fabulous birthday weekend. Friday ( her actual birthday) started with presents with us in the morning then she took cake and donuts into school for morningtea. All her class sang her happy birthday before we left. After school we had a special afternoon tea then she had her big bollywood performance at night. Saturday was her big Fairy party, our back garden was transformed into a fairy grotto..mostly thanks to billy's dad who had some fabulous props left over from 'queen of the whole universe' a drag fundraiser he does the flowers and set for. We also set up a gazebo with flowers and tulle and cushions. Isabella and her friend Rosa were the fairies and greeted everyone at the gate with a good handful of glitter...we are still trying to get it out of Harriet and Billy's hair. Harriet was a rainbow fairy and Billy a pixie. All the kids dressed up and the big fairies played games and face painted as well as haviing a fairy themed afternoon tea. The cake was very simple this year, all she wanted was an icecream cake with fairy statues and flowers.
Sunday popmak brought over a magnificent rabbit hutch and accessories as his present and we went out to get Cinnamon. He is an extra cute wee rabbit and all the kids have been enjoying having him out of the hutch for playtime.
