as this small boy had woken us up every hour last night ( he has had a bit of a cold but not really sure what it was all about) coffee was definately in order after school drop off

I decided it was time Arlo had his own eco friendly fluffy container as well

as the spring like sunshine was continuing I offered Arlo a visit to the park or the farm
his choice was a visit to see animals big

and small

at Ambury Farm

we even found some very small ones making Manuka Honey

half the fun for Arlo seemed to be climbing the gates and fences

to check out what was behind them



lots of chatting to the baby animals


and morning tea with some feathered friends

chickens do like raisins


trying to figure out if he could get inside their house

followed by lots of running around the farm

some rock collecting

mud jumping

and duck chasing

after 2.5 hours I thought he would have a long sleep...but no...he stayed awake till we walked to school

and through getting Milkshakes before walking Billy to his Art class
