Coat- vintage trademe find a few years ago from the Christian Dior Pret-a-porter range for El-Jay
The El-Jay label was created by Gus Fisher in the 1950s and he traveled to Paris each year bringing fashion ideas back to NZ and becoming the first New Zealander to gain the exclusive right to manufacture and sell Dior originals in the New Zealand market....so I'm always very pleased to find an El-Jay garment when thrifting

Tights- on both of us - twice a year we buy up coloured tights in the Smith & Caughey sales for $5 a pair- it's on now if you are in Auckland and I would recommend the Devonshire Tea at the cafe
Sila, who has the best Op Shop mojo of anyone I know, looks out for fabric for me and last week gave me this fabulous collection
so Miss Harriet got a new vintage fabric skirt
these are really quick to make for her, they are 2 widths of fabric sewn together with some elastic through the waist

this was a recent Trademe find and is from the Junior Model Label - Tailor Made for Fit and Finish and Made in NZ..it's roomy on him so am hoping we will get some wear next winter too
